3.  Write down at least three events that were either excluded from the play or that Miller changed in the writing of the play.

4.  In an essay, Miller claims that one of his main themes was “the danger of handing over conscience to another.”  What do you think he means by this theme and how does it affect the play?  Why is this a significant danger in our times?
